Poll Shows Fans Want Cardale Jones to Start for Ohio State

Urban Meyer has a problem that every college coach in the nation would love to have. He doesn't have just one or two quarterbacks that are starter material he has three. A two-quarterback system is not in the cards for the Buckeyes which means he will have to sit two very good players on the bench.

It's a decision that is starting to get to him, but he has months before he has to actually decide on one. In the meantime, if he is curious what the fans would like him to do a few thousand were more than happy to offer their two cents in a recent 247Sports poll.

Over 6000 people have responded to the poll which is going to stay open till 3/31. Through Friday morning the numbers are as follows:

• J.T Barrett: 2046 votes (32.85%)
• Cardale Jones: 2855 votes (45.83%)
• Braxton Miller: 1328 votes (21.32%)

Having just watched him lead the team to victory in the Big 10 championship, Sugar Bowl, and National Championship game it is understandable that the fans are leaning towards Cardale. Since he is the only one healthy for spring ball that should give him a boost in Meyer's eyes too.

The real competition will not take place till the fall when these guys are all healthy and ready to go. It will certainly be an interesting one to follow.
