Texas A&M Head Coach Bill Kennedy Buys Out Student Section Ahead of Monday Night's NIT Game

Texas A&M had hoped they would make it into the Big Dance this season, but a late season swoon sent the Aggies to the NIT. There is not much glory in the NIT, but it is a chance to keep playing and possibly even win a trophy. The Aggies won their first game against Montana in front of just a couple thousand fans.

When you play at home there is no advantage if no one shows up so to make sure there was no excuse for at least the student body for Monday night's game against Louisiana Tech head coach Bill Kennedy took matters in to his own hands.

He bought all the tickets for the student section.

From the look of highlight reels there were more than a couple thousand at the game this time. They ended up leaving disappointed though as the Aggies lost 84-72.
