Will Ferrell to Play Every Position in Several Cactus League Games Thursday to Promote Cancer Awareness

Will Ferrell is a big goof. There is no denying that. If you want someone to play the role of the big, goofy white guy you can't do better than him. So when HBO and MLB decided to team up for a promotional stunt to promote cancer awareness who better to make sure it is something to remember than Will Ferrell?

Ferrell is going to play in several Cactus League games including Athletics-Mariners and Dodgers-Padres. When all is said and done the actor will have played all nine positions.

HBO is going to be recording the whole thing for a special, but there has not been any word yet on when it will air. They will probably not announce which games he is going to be in so that fans can be shocked when they see a guy that looks an awful lot like Will Ferrell step out on to the field.
