Boston University Goalie Matt O'Connor Accidentally Scores Key Goal for Providence College in National Championship [VIDEO]
Matt O'Connor must be the saddest man in the free world tonight. The Boston U goalie had caught a Providence shot that wouldn't have scored anyway had he let it go, but he wanted to catch it and get it back in play for his team (I'm assuming). In the process of bringing it down he lost track of it in his glove, it slipped in between his legs, and behind him in to the net for the game-tying goal.
