Mirko Filipović got a chance to do something very special at UFC Fight Night 64 in Poland. He had a rematch against one of the handful of fighters that he had lost to. He didn't just lose to Gabriel Gonzaga. He was knocked out with a kick to the head back at UFC 70. So when the 40-year old fighter known as "Cro Cop" climbed in to the Octagon he likely had revenge on his mind--just a little.
In the third round he got it thanks to a flurry of well-placed punches and elbows that helped mess up a bloody Gonzalez even more than he already was.
