Clemson Basketball Player Rod Hall Being Courted By Several NFL Teams

At one point in time the guys looking to make NFL rosters just had to worry about other football players competing for roster spots. Now it seems they need to be concerned with track stars, rugby players, and basketball players. Several teams have done well converting former basketball players in to productive NFL players.

It looks like several teams are interested in converting Clemson guard Rod Hall in to a football player.

Typcially when we see teams try to turn a basketball player in to a football player they are hoping to find the next Antonio Gates, but that is not the case with Clemson guard Rod Hall. They are looking at him as either a wide receiver or defensive back.

Ever since the end of the basketball season he has been busy fielding calls from agents wanting to represent the senior in the NBA draft, but several NFL teams have been calling to see if he would be interested in coming in for a workout. The attention from football teams has caught him by surprise.
“I was like, ‘Uh, I haven't played football in so long. Why would they really be interested?’” said Hall.
They say they like what they saw in a YouTube video from his high school days and want to see if he can still get it done today.
