Diego Brandão Handed Win Over Jimy Hettes at #UFCFightNightNew Jersey After Questionable Stoppage

There are disappointing ways for a fight to end and there are ways that just flat out make people mad. Personally, I hate decisions; someone not in the Octagon should not decided the outcome of the fight. Sometimes refs call the fight too early. They mean well and do not want someone getting pounded after they ahve past the point of physically being able to defend themselves, but some guys can take a beating better than others.

Than there is the stoppage because a doctor says so.

That's what happened during the Diego Brandão-Jiy Hettes fight in New Jersey Saturday night. A blow to the ear caused Hettes to start bleeding a lot. You can see the damage hear after they got the bleeding to stop and cleaned him up.

From the GIF you can tell Hettess was not happy with the call and that was pretty much the consensus of fans on Twitter and Reddit as well. I don't know the sport well enough to judge, but I can say that is one jacked up ear.
