Fan Tried to Impersonate Cop to Get in to Rockets-Mavericks Game Tuesday Night

I get it. You are a fan of the team and you would like nothing more than to watch a playoff game from one of the seats inside of the home of your Houston Rockets, the Toyota Center. There is just one problem--you don't have a ticket and can't afford to pay for one on the secondary market. So what's a fan to do?

You try to pass yourself off as an officer of the law and sneak in to the game.

One man, 58-year-old James Pierce, decided to do just that. Wearing a full police uniform he walked up to a security guard, said he had stepped out in order to take a call, and needed to be let back in. The security guard was a little suspicious of Pierce so he decided to check his credentials.

The guard confronted him about the credentials, he admitted they were false, and Pierce was subsequently arrested.

Houston went on to win the game 111-99 in what was a pretty entertaining game.
