Life has not gone how Kevin Smith thought it would. After having a solid career for the Central Florida Knights he entered the draft with hopes of rushing his way to NFL glory and a big paycheck. he gave it a go in the NFL, but the dream doesn't work for everyone. So now he is back in college and working towards a degree.
He was on his way to class when the police caught up with him and arrested him for leaving the scene of an accident.

According to TMZ, Smith was on the UCF campus on his way to class when the police caught up with him. They tried to talk to him about an accident that had occurred over the weekend, but Smith blew them off and kept walking.
Along with leaving the scene of an accident Smith was driving on a suspended license at the time of the incident.
When the cops tried to issue him a citation he refused to cooperate so they took him to jail where he received a citation for resisting arrest as well.
