Jon Jones Out of UFC 187 After Arrest for Hit and Run in New Mexico; Possibly Under the Influence

Dana White was probably riding a high after another successful UFC event Saturday night, but Sunday afternoon his world probably came crashing back down when he got word that one of his champions had been placed under arrest after being involved in an accident where multiple injuries occurred. Cocaine was also found at the scene

It appears that he was involved in an accident Sunday afternoon in Albuquerque according to early reports:

There’s also a rumor Jones struck a vehicle driven by a pregnant woman. I have no information on anyone’s condition.

The only thing the police have said so far is:

We CANNOT confirm that Jon Jones was involved in a H&R traffic accident from this morning. The investigation is ongoing.

Should this whole mess end up being true it could go end very bad for Jones who tested positive after his last fight for drugs, checked himself in to rehab, but than left after just a day. This might be a good time for some tough love from Dana White.
