Kansas City Chiefs Safety Eric Berry Doing Well With Cancer Treatments

Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry’s season came to a screeching halt last year when he was diagnosed with a form of cancer called Hodgkin lymphoma. Ever since he has dedicated his time battling the disease and getting treated for it. 

Eric remains confident that he can beat the disease and according to his brother treatments are going well.

His younger brother Evan is a defensive back for the Tennessee Volunteers and had this to say when asked how his brother is doing:
“He’s doing really good,” Evan Berry told reporters. “I think he has three more treatments left. To be honest, I don’t really see it affecting him. He’s a very strong person, and he’s continued to keep strong.”

About 10 percent of all lymphoma cases are Hodgkin lymphoma. Chances of recovery are considered to be very high.
