New Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson: Andrew Luck is the Best Quarterback I've Played With

It is almost mind-boggling to think about what Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Andre Johnson could have done during his career had he played with better quarterbacks than what he had in Houston the last dozen years. David Carr's career never panned out. Matt Schaub had some good years in him, but he was never a superstar. Case Keenum, Sage Rosenfels, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Ryan Mallett--decent at best.

So when he says that Andrew Luck is probably the best quarterback that he has played with during his NFL career the only surprising thing is that he said "probably."

Johnson is taking part in his first off-season workout with the Colts and so far it sounds like he is quite happy with where he is:
“I wouldn’t say it’s hard. It’s like a breath of fresh air. The past two years have been pretty frustrating. It’s like a breath of fresh air for me.”
Johnson had become quite vocal about his frustrations with the Texans the last couple seasons and their apparent disinterest in addressing the QB situation. So when the team talked about him taking a reduced role next season it was the perfect opportunity for him to escape--and he did.

Now he is playing for his longtime division rival and quite happy to have the quarterback that he does:
"He throws a great ball," Johnson said, smiling at the promise of this new partnership. "He's probably the best quarterback I've ever played with."
When asked to comment about his new target Luck decided to be a funny guy:
"I was in eighth grade when he was drafted," Luck quipped, per Mike Chappell of RTV6.
Funny guy that Andrew.
