Notre Dame Opens As 12.5 Point Favorite Over Texas

Notre Dame  may not know who it is going to start at quarterback, but there is one thing that is pretty certain--their options are better than what Texas has. Longhorns head coach said last year's starter, Tyrone Swoopes, is much improved, but to anyone that watched him play last season that's as good as saying he's gone from crap-tastic to just plain bad.

Both defenses should be good so in the end this game will likely come down to whose quarterback can get their offense working. If the early line is any indication it sounds like Vegas is banking on whoever Notre Dame (-12.5) starts being significantly better than whoever Texas (+12.5) starts.
