Danny Shelton is the mammoth defensive tackle of the coming draft that will either make a defensive line coach very happy in the first round or be the steal of the draft in one of the latter rounds. Last week he participated in Washington's Pro Day, but did not do everything choosing to let his combine workout speak for itself.
When he went through drills he did them in a way different than any other player--he wore what is called a lava lava. In case you are wondering what a lava lava is, Wikipedia describes it as an article of daily clothing traditionally worn by Polynesians and other Oceanic peoples. It consists of a single rectangular cloth worn as a skirt.

Sound like a difficult thing to workout in? Well--I don't have a video of him going through the process,
but NFL.com does.
It looks like he might be wearing shorts underneath (not sure).
