WATCH: Boston Red Sox CF Mookie Betts Steals Two Bags on the Same Play

When you see a title that says a player stole two bags on one play the obvious assumption most people would make is that whoever was covering the bag must have totally botched fielding the throw. When the ball squirted out in to center field the base runner was basically gifted with another base. While that happens often it does not make for much of a post.

There was no overthrow here. Just some clueless fielding on the part of the Nationals and a heads up play by Mookie Betts.
