It's a waste of a good beer though. I'm sure it will take long enough to get to the exit to finish a beer. As much as those things probably cost he could have done more damage by just yelling a few obscenities.

WATCH: Washington Capitals Brooks Orpik Hit With Flying Beer After Team Wins Game Against Islanders
This is just unreal. After Nicklas Backstrom scored a goal to give the Capitals the win over the Islanders Tuesday night a fan committed what should be considered a sin. Apparently unhappy about the result of the game he took his beer and chucked it at Brooks Orpik hitting him in the shoulder. As far as Orpik is concerned it was probably just a mild annoyance. He was about to hit the locker room and take the jersey off anyway.
