Dana White: Donald Cerrone is the Next Lightweight Title Contender

Donald Cerrone has been on a good run of late. After getting a TKO win over John Makdessi Saturday as part of the UFC 187 main card he has won his last eight fights (three unanimous decisions, two submissions, two KOs, and one TKO) dating back to November 2013.

After the way he handled Makdessi many people on social media were calling for Cerrone to get a title shot.

Dana White tells me he's not going to press conference tonight, but DID say Donald Cerrone is the next lightweight title contender.
