Frank Gore Talking Smack to Former Teammate Vernon Davis?

For years Frank Gore and Vernon Davis were teammates on the San Francisco 49ers. As far as we know the two did not have any issues during Gore's time with the 49ers, but from a comment he left on a picture Davis posted to Instagram it looks like there may have been a little tension between the two.

It all started because Vernon Davis said he missed football.

Lots of folks had opinions on the comment. Was Gore calling out Davis? Was he trolling? Do he and Davis have issues? As it turns out the answer is none of the above. Gore eventually commented on again to make sure folks knew he was just playing:
