Massachusetts Bar Selling Free Brady Blonde IPA to Raise Money for Charity

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been suspended for the first four weeks of the 2015 season and that has some fans angry and demanding action. There have been several petitions online, a GoFundMe drive to raise money for the $1 million fine, a rally that only 150 people went to, and a newlywed couple refusing to go on their honeymoon till Brady's suspension is lifted.

None of their efforts are going to mean a darn thing of course, but the efforts by the owner of the Eagle Brook Saloon in Norfolk, Massachusetts certainly will.

His efforts will help fans get through the four weeks the team plays without Brady as well as make some money for charity. What is he doing? Selling a new microbeer at his bar, Free Brady Blonde IPA.
"We just feel like the NFL is taking a shot at the big guy on the block to make a statement," Chuck Horne, the owner of the bar, said. "It's ridiculous."
His bar is located about three miles from Gillette Stadium so it is likely frequented by quite a few Patriots fans. They now will be able to show some support for their favorite quarterback while taking part in their favorite past time--drinking beer.

If that wasn't incentive enough to buy a pint of Free Brady Blonde IPA at $6.75, a donation of $1/beer will go to local charities in Brady's name. After six days of sales the bar has already sold over 500 pints.

So guys living in and around the Norfolk-area head over tell your wives and girlfriends you need to go get loaded at the Eagle Brook Saloon to benefit charity.
