I get it. People like hate. They like trash talk and controversy. What they don't like is when everything is sunshine and roses. It's just not that interesting. If you aren't interesting you are not going to keep your new job as a studio analysts for long. So former football players turned new studio or radio analysts are overly harsh and critical for the sole purpose of creating buzz.

Former running back turned future commentator Maurice Jones-Drew's comments on Dallas Cowboys first round pick Byron Scott are a perfect example.

Worst pick of the draft? Come on son! He is one of the most athletic guys in the draft and only allowed receivers to catch 24 balls last season. That sounds pretty darn good.
