New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks Fans Must Have Money to Burn

When it comes to the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots you either love them or hate them. It's easy to love a winner, but at the same time for many that's just as good of a reason to hate them. Fans of both are certainly among the most dedicated and loyal in the league.

Both fan bases are being put to the test this off-season--New England with the fallout from Deflate Gate and Seattle with the possibility of losing their quarterback. Both have responded by putting their money where there metaphorical mouths are.

Even though they know that the owners of their respective franchises are filthy stinking rich they are offering to help with a couple of massive expenditures--the Deflate Gate fine and resigning Russell Wilson. A GoFundMe account has been started for fans to donate their hard earned money to.

You know--because fans don't spend enough on tickets and merchandise as it is.

The Patriots are having better luck than the Seahawks so far. After one day over $12,000 has been raised from 894 fans donating as little as $5 and as much as $500. Many have opted to go with $12 to show Tom Brady some love in the process.

They have a long way to go to hit the goal of $1 million.

The Keep Russell Wilson campaign has raised $807 of its $5 million goal in 12 hours from 15 people thanks to donations ranging from $5 to $475.

If you want to help you can do so by following the link to Patriots page or the Seahawks page.

If you really have money to burn feel free to donate to my cause--the "I'm broke as hell and need to fix my van so I can take my autistic kids to school" fund (send donations to my PayPal account at top4209@yahoo.com).
