Some Patriots Fans Advocating For a Boycott Of Game One Should Tom Brady Be Suspended

The Wells Report is out and it sounds like New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady may have done a few things he shouldn't have--or at the least knew of a few things going on and did nothing to stop them. What knowledge he appears to have had could end up costing him. Yes, Golden Boy Brady could be suspended for anywhere from a game to a season.

This has made some fans very upset (as could be expected). Some are even going as far as to say fans should boycott the season opener.

I saw this on Patriotsplanet. If Turdell suspends the GOAT for the opener then all season ticket holders should not show up for that farce. Let the NFL have an empty stadium for their nationally televised signature game of the regular season. Let Kraft unveil that banner with just Turdell, his league lackeys and the Mediots in attendance. Embarrass them. Do not sell the tickets. Trash them. Make sure no one uses them. Show up and tailgate all you want. Just don't go in the stadium.
From the comments on Reddit it does not appear as if too many folks are going to subscribe to this train of thought. Most appear to be more interested in showing support for Brady and the team rather than make Gooodell look bad.

However, there is a lot of support for the team to delay raising the Super Bowl Championship banner. Most agree that it just would not seem right to do so without the quarterback that guided the team to victory on the sideline.

Brady would probably say do it anyway because the rest of the team deserves it, but it would be interesting to see if a delay would even be considered should Brady receive less than a full season suspension.

    I might be done with the NFL for good after this. I've never been to a patriots game before, my family moved away from Mass when I was 14. My uncle bought me tickets to the Cowboys patriots game later this year, and come to find out Brady will be suspended. This whole deflategate investigation has been a joke. Vikings caught heating footballs, small fine. Colts and falcons caught pumping in crown noise, small fine. Circumstantial evidence that patriots may have let a small air out of a football, with no definitive proof, and they get a $1 million fine, loss of 2 draft picks, and 4 game suspension for Brady? Ridiculous. If this holds I'm done with the NFL.

    We fans (and lets face it, The New England Patriots are our team-Bob Kraft is just the current caretaker) need to do something to let Roger, his minions and Bob Kraft know we are pissed off. Let the world know we are sick of being the scapegoat of The NFL. S.G. was Bull!@"!* and this under inflated ball stuff is so obviously a witch hunt.
