Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys have never been one to shy away from signing a player with baggage. Never was that more apparent when they resigned defensive lineman Josh Brent to a one-year contract last season. Brent had been convicted of killing his best friend and teammate, Jerry Brown in a drunk driving accident in 2012 (intoxication manslaughter).
It looks like the comeback attempt is going to be short lived.

Brent had to serve a 10-game suspension before he was able to play last season. He ended up playing in just one game.
Best of luck to you Josh. Hopefully you can do something with your life that will honor your friend.
I cannot forget that drunk driving accident which killed Jerry Brown. Driving is a privilege, drunk driving is a sin. If you are facing charges, ask your DUI lawyer how your case will impact you. If he is unwilling to give you specific answers, he likely do not practice enough drunk driving cases and change your attorney immediately.
