WATCH: Houston Astros Record First Triple Play in Over a Decade in Win Over Detroit
There is a strange thing going on in Houston. It is something that fans have hoped would happen for sometime now. Some had given up hope, but many did not (they just drank more to ease the pain). It appears like it may be happening though-the Houston Astros may actually be good again.
They certainly looked the part in the fifth inning against the Detroit Tigers Saturday when they turned the franchises first triple play in over a decade (last one came on August 19, 2004) and only the tenth in franchise history.
To make it even better, the team went on to win the game 3-2 and now lead the American League West by five games.
