WATCH: Seattle Seahawks Punter Jon Ryan Attempts American Ninja Warrior Course
As much as we may not see them as athletes punters are indeed athletes. They have to be to do what they do. Yeah, most of them may tackle like a fat guy reaching out for a rice cake, but they don't exactly train to make tackles. Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan does a lot more than your average punter and there is no question--he is an athlete.
He had to be to qualify for American Ninja Warrior and Monday night he got his chance. Sadly, he didn't make it too far.
