WATCH: Rickie Fowler Misses Hole in One on Par 4 12th Hole at U.S. Open By Inches
Rickie Fowler did not have a great day during the opening round of the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay Thursday. According to the leader board on ESPN he finished the day with a score of 9-over par. For those not familiar with the game of golf that is pretty bad (for a pro; I'd love to hit a 9 over). However, he did manage to have the greatest single shot of the day when he nearly hit a hole in one on the 12th hole--only to miss it by inches.
