Lately, whenever we hear about a lineman and weight it is because he has retired and decided to drop so much weight you can't call him a fat kid without being ironic. That is not the case with Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva.
At West Point, he was recruited as a tight end and ended up playing offensive and defensive line as well as wide receiver.

Being a service academy he always had to be mindful of his weight. When he graduated and joined the Rangers he had to meet physical readiness standards meaning he could not be a large man.
When he left the Army following three tours and joined the Eagles as a defensive lineman he weighed in around 245. Now, with the Steelers, he tips the scales at 338 pounds.
