Texas A&M Coach Kevin Sumlin Takes Jab At Longhorns Coach Charlie Strong During Radio Appearance

All is fair in love and war--and college football. If you lose a game the winner has bragging rights until the next time the two teams meet. Do something stupid--like forget the name of your quarterback--and you should expect to be the butt of jokes for a long time.

During a recent radio appearance, Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin had a little fun at the expense of Texas Longhorns head coach Charlie Strong and his poor memory.

In case you don't remember or didn't hear, during a deposition Strong gave back in April he got the name of his starting quarterback wrong. At the time he was made fun of by many, and months later Sumlin decided to go ahead and take a jab himself:
Gabe Bock (the show's host) asked Sumlin, “What about Kyler Murray and Kevin, uh, Kyler Murray and Kyle Allen?”
A chuckling Sumlin responded, “I was getting ready to make a joke there about not knowing the quarterback’s name, but that would get me in real trouble …”
Billy Liucci, the show's co-host, felt the need to say the joke has been done before--which is true--and it wasn't much one (hence being called a jab and not a haymaker). However, since it is coming from the head coach of the Longhorns biggest rival (yes, even though they don't play)?

It's freaking awesome.
