Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson Making History Just Two Weeks Into His Pro Career [VIDEO]

When the Arizona Cardinals drafted former Northern Iowa running back David Johnson in the third round they felt like they were getting a play maker; someone that could help take the team to the next level. Anyone that can score 64 touchdowns during his career must have some talent, right?

The question for rookies, however, is when they will get the chance to prove it. After two weeks he has not had many touches, but with the ones he has done more than make a difference. He's made history.

With the third touch of his career and the first play of Sunday's game against New Orleans he made Arizona Cardinals history by returning the opening kick 108-yards for a touchdown. It was the longest kick off return in team history, and also the second longest in NFL history--but it didn't end there.

He also scored on a 13-yard carry making him the first Cardinals player since 1958 to record a kick return touchdown and a rushing touchdown in the same game. He also became the first rookie to score a rushing, receiving, and kick return touchdown during his first two games in NFL history.

So to commemorate the accomplishment the NFL is putting his gear from Sunday's game in the Hall of Fame:

Fans will be eagerly awaiting Sunday's game against the 49ers to see what he does for an encore.
