Boise State RB Jeremy Nichols Making It Easy To Forget About Jay Ajayi [VIDEO]

When you have a guy that contributed over 2300 yards from scrimmage and 32 touchdowns it is going to be hard to replace him, but that is exactly what Boise State has to do if it is going to succeed this season. It appears that doing so may not be as hard as you would think. Jeremy Nichols, the Broncos starting running back in Friday night's season opener against Washington, only had 17 carries for 159 yards last season.

Well--in the first half alone he rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns, and tacked on another 24 yards through the air off of three catches. So while it is still early in the season, the future certainly looks good for the Broncos at running back.
