ESPN's Merril Hoge Now A Johnny Manziel Supporter?

Ever since Johnny Manziel declared for the draft, ESPN's Merril Hoge has been an outspoken critic of the Cleveland Browns quarterback. It was only recently that he said the Browns need to cut Manziel loose and go in a different direction. He said the Browns were doing the other teams in the division a favor by holding on to Manziel.

A day after Manziel led the Browns to a 28-14 win over the Tennessee Titans he has changed his tune.

Manziel did not do a lot in the win, but what he did he did very well. he was 8-15 for 172 yards and two touchdowns, a 50-yard one and a 60-yard one to Travis Benjamin.

During an appearance on a Cleveland radio show last Friday he said he would wear a brown and orange tie at work Monday if Manziel led them to victory. He wore the tie, but he did a little more. He endorsed Manziel as a starter:

At that moment a portion of hell froze over and some pigs suddenly learned how to fly.
