Football is not a game for the timid or weak. It is not something that the uninspired or quiet will necessarily succeed at. There are many things that a player needs to have in order to be good at it, but there is one thing that absolutely cannot be missing--passion.

You have to love it. It has to get you excited when things are going well for your team and make you sad when they come out on the wrong end of the scoreboard. Without that passion you will never know just how good you can actually be.
