Who in the heck is Ronaiah Tuiasosopo?
We now know that this is the guy that is behind the hoax; the man that fooled Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o into believing he had an online relationship with a beautiful young lady by the name of Lennay Kekua.
What else?
Well, it's been said that he is a pastor in Palmdale, California. We now know that it is his dad, Titus, that is the pastor; Ronaiah is the leader of the gospel band at the Oasis Christian Church in Antelope Valley, California.
Apparently he was a heck of a high school quarterback in his own right and a pretty good singer. At least he thought he was. He got a tryout on The Voice (the up-coming season), but no one turned their chair around.
I had previously read that the pics of the woman used were randomly chosen from Facebook, but I'm now reading that he was a classmate of hers from high school.
Supposedly this whole mess has been very upsetting to him and he recently called up a friend crying over the whole thing and confessing to it all.
Call it a hunch--but I don't think there will be a person on Earth that will feel sorry for him. Going with it for a few days or something is still mean, but I can see it happening and people easily forgetting about it. Three years? Trying to come back from the dead?
There are still too many holes in this story. The only person that can really clear them up is the person whom befriended Manti at a Stanford game back in 2009--Ronaiah Tuiasosopo.
Time to speak up and face the music.
