For some reason Will Ferrell likes to do commercials for The Beast (that's Old Milwaukee beer for those of you that drank wine coolers in college) during the Super Bowl, but only broadcast them in a limited market. The one above was just shown in North Platte, Nebraska, during last year's game.
Why? I don't know. Since it is a little odd (Will Ferrell? Odd?) it is something that is going to get our attention anyway. Why bother getting networks to do anything if the blogo-sphere will do it for you, right?
This year's ad appeared in a few more markets than last year (parts of Texas, Oklahoma, and Montana). It looks like it's Ron Burgundy borrowing from Jackie Moon's wardrobe making out with Adam Sandler's "girlfriend" from Happy Gillmore.
Definition of beer goggles perhaps? or love conquers all?
