When I first saw LeBron James handed the Finals MVP trophy following a pretty good Game 7 I thought it was well-deserved. There is no other person on the Heat team that it could have rightfully gone to. Then I listened to his speech and found a new respect for the man.
Which was easy because I had none (not a fan).
Then I saw a few folks on Twitter comment on how his little speech was stealing from Weezy? I don't know rap artists that started after 1990 so if anyone could clear that up for me that would be great--because it's either a great speech or he's a chump (can't be original when you win the Finals man? Come on!).
