Texas A&M Breaking Out the Classic Helmets This Weekend But Have a New One in the Wings

Alternate helmets are all the rage in college football nowadays. From state inspired ones to chrome and in one case even stone the sky is the limit when it comes to the designs that schools are willing to go with. The options keep fans guessing; not a bad way to keep them engaged too.

It also breathes life into the team's longtime helmet. Now they are no longer old; they are retro, classic, or better yet--old school which is what Texas A&M is going with against UTEP this weekend.

It appears that the Aggies have another new helmet that they will be using at sometime this season. There has not been any announcement about the yet, but pics of it are already making the rounds online:
