Husband (Bears Fan) Tasers Wife (Packers Fan) Over Bet--and Gets Arrested

The rivalry between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers is the longest running rivalry in the NFL. So whenever these two legendary clubs meet it is understandable if rivals decide to throw down with a friendly wager. How better to show your love of the team than to put yourself on the line for your team?

Where it can be problematic is when love of team conflicts with love of a family member--or the love that exists between a husband and wife. It appears that may be the case for one couple.

A 42-year old man, John Grant, bet his wife that the Bears would beat the Packers Monday night. Since she's a Green Bay she took the bet. The stakes? Loser gets shocked with a stun gun.

Well, the Packers lost so John shocked his wife the stun gun--twice on the behind and once on the thigh. However, it appears that he may be in hot water with the law now because of it.

It seems that the woman never thought he would actually go through with is so when he did she was not too happy with him and called the cops. Her original report was eventually torn up when police confirmed that she did indeed agree to the bet (thanks to text messages and cell phone video), but he was arrested anyway.

Why? Well, as it turns out it is illegal to have a stun gun in Wisconsin without a conceal and carry permit--which the man did not have.

He now faces up to six years in prison and a fine of $10,000.
