Nick Saban's Agent: The Only School He Would Leave Alabama For is Texas

This is not something that Alabama fans wanted to hear. According to an AP report there is one place that Nick Saban would be willing to coach other than Alabama--Texas.

The admission apparently came back in September during a phone call between Saban's agent, Jimmy Sexton, and former Texas Regent Tom Hicks and current Regent Wallace Hall.According to an email sent by Hicks during the conversation Sexton stated:

"Sexton confirmed that UT is the only job Nick would possibly consider leaving Alabama for, and that his success there created special pressure for him," Hicks wrote.

Special pressure?

Whatever that is wasn't discussed, but one can only imagine what it would be. When you make winning national titles as regular a thing as some people make changing their underwear certain expectations are raised. When said expectations are that high the pressure has to be incredibly intense.

Shortly after the conversation with Sexton current Texas Head Coach Mack Brown was asked about retirement--which would make it easy to make the transition. Brown put a wrench in that plan though stating he was not looking to retire anytime soon....
