Tony Parker Needs to Step Up

Tony Parker is having another All-star season but with the Spurs riddled with injuries they need their star to return to the MVP conversation.

The San Antonio Spurs have hit a funk; they are losers of three straight games for the first time this season and are riddled with injuries. The Spurs’ coaching staff has had no choice but to rely on bench warmers to fill their starting line-ups lately. The offense in the last three games has been dry and the defense has been even worse. The Spurs lack of size on the wing and inside is really costing them games. 

Also the lack of help is starting to put strain on aging star Tim Duncan, who is beginning to look a bit wore down on the court. Duncan’s minutes are up and that could lead to disaster.

The Spurs only have one player that can save the day and put the entire team on his back and that man is Tony Parker. The team desperately needs him to return to his MVP-like form and start dominating games like he has in the past....
