LSU Freshman Trey Lealaimatafao Gives Incredibly Bad Excuse For Why He Stole Bike

When Trey Lealaimatafao thought about how his name was going to be in the paper in college it likely had something to do with sacking the quarterback and making some big game-saving play. He probably never imagined it would be for going to the hospital because he severely messed up his arm after punching a glass window--and that's not the best of it.

Now he's been cited for stealing a bike off the rack at school, but what is really priceless is his excuse.

When the authorities asked him about the bike he admitted to taking. H said he thought it was okay to do so since it was not secured.

Go ahead and let that one soak in for a moment. Okay, now laugh uncontrollably.

Apparently in Trey's world no lock means you don't want it. That's what my mom told me other people would think--and apparently do--if I didn't lock mine up even though I absolutely wanted my bike.

He's lucky the charge is just a misdemeanor charge, but he should be concerned over what Les Miles is going to think.

Being the smart coach he is Miles is going to see a kid that was not smart enough to punch the padded weight bench rather than the glass window. He's also going to see a kid that stole a bike the day after he was released from the hospital.

The kind of behavior he has exhibited should and likely will set off some pretty big red flags.
