WATCH: Indianapolis Colts RB Daniel Herron Commits Fumble After Getting Hit in the Nuts
Fumbles are never acceptable. You can't understand why a player gave the ball up or excuse any reason he may have for turning it over. However. there may be one reasonable and acceptable excuse for dropping the ball. Some will argue there is no excuse, but guys--if we are honest with ourselves we know there is one.
