James Starks has done well in place of Lacy at times, but he struggled as well (nine carries, 15 yards). It certainly didn't help when he tripped over the back leg of one of his offensive lineman.
So what are they going to do? Aaron Rodgers was the most productive ball carrier with 27 yards on four carries. That is not good, and will certainly not get them far in the playoffs.
Is there anything they can do or are they just screwed this season? Well--hopefully when they get their first team guys back on the line the blocking will get better and the holes bigger. The line has been decimated with injuries of late, and while the second string guys are pros as well there is a reason why they were not starting in the first place.
If a healthy offensive line doesn't do the trick, well--it will not be hard to guess what the Packers are going to go after in the draft.
