TCU Nearly Completes Comeback Against Oklahoma With 3rd String QB Only To Lose After Failed 2-Point Attempt
TCU should have been blown out by Oklahoma. With TCU playing without its star quarterback and wide receiver the Sooner should have been able to win this one running away, but they didn't. They lost Baker Mayfield, but Trevor Knight played well in relief. The problem for the Sooners was so did TCU's third string quarterback Bram Kohlhausen.

WATCH: TCU QB Bram Kohlhausen Hits KaVontae Turpin With An 86-Yard Touchdown Pass
Late in the game it was looking like Oklahoma was going to get an easy win over TCU. The Horned Frogs were without their star quarterback as well as wide receiver, and ended up having to play their third string quarterback, some kid named Bram Kohlhausen. They shouldn't have had a chance, but the defense stepped it up as did a few other guys.
As it turns out, this Bram Kohlhausen kid wasn't half-bad. With about nine minutes left to play he hit KaVontae Turpin with a pass who then finished off the play by taking it to the house for an 86-yard touchdown:

Third String QB Chris Johnson Leads Baylor To First Win At Oklahoma State Since 1939 [VIDEO]
Baylor's hopes for being part of the college football playoffs are likely done, but that does not mean they don't have anything to play for. Heading into Stillwater, Oklahoma, for a game with Oklahoma State they were hoping to keep their Big 12 title hopes alive with a win over the Cowboys.
Things were going well in the first half, but than quarterback Jarrett Stidham was knocked out of the game leaving the team to play its third string quarterback, Chris Johnson.

Mississippi State Blocks Field Goal To Preserve Win Over Arkansas [VIDEO]
In recent weeks the Arkansas Razorbacks have clicked on offense better than any team in college football. They have put up some crazy numbers on some pretty good competition. They only problem has been the crazy numbers that they have given up. Saturday night was more of the same as Brandon Allen had more than 400 yards and seven touchdowns on the night, but allowed Dak Prescott to throw for over 500 yards.
In the end they were in a position to win the game. All they had to do was make a field goal--but the Bulldogs defense had something else in mind:

After a week of mystery Texas A&M ended up going back to sophomore Kyle Allen Saturday night against Vanderbilt. Allen wasted little time showing that the coach was right to have faith in him and give him another shot.
He got the Aggies in scoring position early, but had a little trouble getting into the end zone--but he did get in once during the first half on a 95-yard touchdown pass to Josh Reynolds:

Texas A&M's Daeshon Hall Shows Off His Insane Speed Making Early Sack On Vanderbilt QB [VIDEO]
Myles Garrett gets most of the attention on the Texas A&M defense, but he is not the only stud in the group. Fellow defensive lineman Daeshon Hall is a force to be reckoned with as well. He may not be as good as Garrett, but with teams so focused on Garrett he is often left with only one player to beat.
Early in the game he showed just how good he is when he chased down the Vanderbilt quarterback for the sack.

You never like to see a kid go down with an injury whether it is a non-contact injury or one where the kid gets laid out or twisted up like a pretzel. They all suck. It's a shame when they put in the work only to have their season cut short.
Hopefully that will not be the case for USC wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. During Saturday's game against Oregon he was making a cut when his knee appeared to give out and he crumbled to the ground.

Chris Johnson had not played this season before being called on to step in for Jarrett Stidham in the second half against Oklahoma State. Horrible Call By Refs Cost Wisconsin Badgers Game Against Northwestern [VIDEO]
Refs are supposed to keep the game safe and fair, but they are not supposed to have a direct impact on the outcome of the game--but they certainly did in the Wisconsin--Northwestern game. Late in the third quarter Wisconsin punt returner Alex Erickson appeared to make a great return for a touchdown, but the refs called it back. They claimed that he had called for a fair catch.
A fair catch call is done by waving a hand overhead. Erickson doesn't even come close to doing that. What he does is waive the team off by waiving his arms down low; a common practice when a kick doesn't go very far.

WATCH: Wisconsin's Vince Biegel Tries To High-Five Ref After Making Sack
It is a common practice among football players to celebrate when they make a big play. When running backs and wide receivers score it is not unusual to see them do some sort of celebration. Defensive backs will do something after breaking up a pass on third down. Offensive lineman do not get many chances, but defensive ones and linebackers do when they make a sack.
So when Wisconsin linebacker Vince Biegel made a sack against Northwestern Saturday he wanted to celebrate, but he chose the wrong person to do it with--the ref:

WATCH: UConn Seals Win Over Houston Cougars With Game-Ending Interception Off Greg Ward
It's an old cliche, but it is a true cliche--any team can win on any given day. If a good team like Houston doesn't play well, and their opponent plays its best game of the season they are going to lose--and they did. UConn shut down the Houston running game allowing just 110 yards on 33 carries, and forced four turnovers on the day.
The fourth came late in the fourth after Kyle Postma had been knocked out of the game and Greg Ward had to come back in. Had he completed the pass to his guy the team would have been in field goal range, but it was intercepted.

Michigan State Beats Ohio State With Game Ending Field Goal By Michael Geiger [VIDEO]
When it was announced that Michigan State was going to sit quarterback Connor Cook against Ohio State fans of the Buckeyes probably felt pretty good about their team's chances against the Spartans. However, the Spartans back-up quarterbacks, Tyler O'Connor and Damion Terry were determined to prove them wrong.
And they did.

Wisconsin Cheerleaders Get Pelted With Snow Balls By Home Crowd; Leave Field [VIDEO]
This kind of thing doesn't tend to happen too often. Typically, if the home crowd is going to be mean to someone it is someone or something from the other team--but not Wisconsin fans. LSU WR Travin Dural Injured After Getting Flipped Onto His Back By Ole Miss Defensive Back [VIDEO]
LSU is having a hard time once again this week; this time with Ole Miss. At the half they were down 24-7. Leonard Fournette wasn't having a bad day, but he wasn't running wild over the Rebels either. That means the passing game has to step it up and that is something easier said then done for the Tigers.

After the way the team lost to Alabama and Arkansas rumor has it that the school may have lost faith in his ability to win when it counts.

West Virginia Runs Wild Over Kansas To Become Bowl Eligible [VIDEO]
When West Virginia running back Wendall Smallwood crashed through the Kansas defense for an easy 24-yard touchdown that gave the Mountaineers a 28-0 lead in the first quarter the announcer had it right when he said this wasn't fair. Kansas was completely outclassed (as usual), and never really had a chance. By time it was all said and done west Virginia wracked up over 600 yards of offense and had three guys with over 100 yards.

Kansas State Defense Comes Up Big To Complete 21-Point Comeback And Beat Iowa State [VIDEO]
When Iowa State scored 28 points in the second quarter against Kansas State and took a 35-14 lead into the half there did not appear to be much hope for the Wildcats. Whatever Bill Snyder said to his team during halftime worked wonders though since his defense was able to hold Iowa State scoreless and his offense was finally able to get something going.

Florida Defense Comes Up Big To Secure Win Over Florida Atlantic In OT [VIDEO]
A good team is defined in many different ways. For example, even when they play poorly they are still able to find a way to win when the game is on the line. Florida looked terrible against Florida Atlantic, but when it mattered the most the team was able to come through.
They scored a touchdown on their possession in overtime, but missed the extra point leaving a door open for Florida Atlantic to complete the upset should FAU score a touchdown on their possession. So the defense stepped up and made sure they didn't.

Citadel Upsets South Carolina For First Win Over FBS Team In 28 Tries [VIDEO]
This is exactly the kind of game that Nick Saban likes to refer to, Yes, the Citadel is an FCS program, but they are a good one. Lately, South Carolina has shown some promise so even though it is a down year for the Gamecocks they should have been able to handle the Citadel--but they couldn't.
Late in the game and backed up deep South Carolina appeared to make the go-ahead touchdown on a long play only to see it called back because of a penalty. The Gamecocks followed it up with a short pass over the middle on the last play of the game which the defense had no trouble covering. Citadel wins, 23-22, beating an FBS team for the first time in 28 tries.

Miami DL Ufomba Kamalu Destroys Georgia Tech QB Matthew Jordan With Vicious Stiff-Arm
When there is a fumble that a defensive player is returning everyone on offense is expected to make an effort to go after the ball carrier. Yes, even the quarterback, but you hope that he is careful and doesn't get hurt making a tackle. Virginia Tech's Dadi Nicolas Is Lucky He Wasn't Ejected [VIDEO]
Penalties can be tough for football players to deal with sometimes. The last thing you want is for a call the ref makes--whether you are guilty or not--to influence the outcome of the game. So when Virginia Tech's Dadi Nicolas was called for a penalty it is understandable that he may get a little upset.
However, a player can't get so upset over a penalty call that they make another one like he did here by hitting the refs hand. It was incidental contact, but it still never should have happened.

San Francsico 49ers QB Colin Kapernick Season Over; Team Puts Him On IR
The San Francisco 49ers may or may not have Colin Kaepernick on the roster next season, but as far as this season goes he is definitely done. Blaine Gabbert has replaced him as the starting quarterback already, and it appears that he is going to have surgery on his non-throwing shoulder to deal with a torn labrum. So the team is pretty much stuck with Blaine Gabbert going forward.
What fans will be interested in knowing next is if Kaepernick will be coming back next season. He hasn't played well over the last couple of seasons, and with the size of his contract it is hard to justify playing him. You certainly do not pay reserve players $11.9 million.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer Hit With Ridiculous Fine For Sideline Celbration
Sunday was a pretty big day for the Arizona Cardinals. By beating the Seattle Seahawks they took a pretty commanding lead in the division and should have no problem making the post season this year. At the time everyone assumed it was geared towards the Seattle fans, but Palmer says it was directed at friends of his that happened to be in the stands. The move ended up causing him to get hit with an $11K fine by the league office.

Regretfully, fines have become a big part of the NFL. Jarryd Hayne Says No Truth To Rumors He Wants To Return To Rugby
Making the transition from one sport to the another isn't easy. Jarryd Hayne was aware of that before he decided to leave the NRL (National Rugby League) for the NFL, but he wanted to play in the NFL so he did it. He did enough to earn a spot on the opening day roster, but the team eventually decided he needed a little more work so they cut him.
He was resigned to the practice squad so he is still in the NFL, but it would not be hard to see him getting frustrated with the whole process. After all, he was a star in the NRL, and now he is just a scout team player that has to watch the game from the stands on Sundays.

Reggie Bush's brother can't be happy with him right about now. Lets assume that he put a lot of thought, time, and care into whatever it is that he got his mom for her birthday. For his sake, hopefully he got to giver her his present before Reggie gave her his.
It would be kind of tough to be the follow up present to a brand new Bentley.

Houston Head Coach Tom Herman Extends Open Invite To Beyonce [PHOTO]
Life is good for Houston Cougars head coach Tom Herman. He has successfully made the transition from offensive coordinator after moving from Ohio State to Houston. His team is undefeated, his offense is one of the best in football, and his defense isn't half bad either. He has done so well the school has already decided to give him a raise from $1.3 million to $3 million.
The raise is in part because of the fantastic job he has done, but also because there are rumors tying him to every major job opening in the country. At $1.3 million there would be no way anyone would expect him to stay in Houston over South Carolina, Missouri, or USC.

Houston Texans Cheerleaders With The Salute To Service Edition Of Freestyle Friday [VIDEO]
It is finally Friday. That means the end of the work week for most people and time to relax, let loose, hang out with family and friends, and do whatever comes to mind. For many people that will include watching a whole lot football on Saturday and especially Sunday. After beating the Cincinnati Bengals last Monday there is hope and optimism again in Houston.
Can the team do it again Sunday? Can they beat the New York Jets?

Somehow The Buffalo Bills Think They Have Figured Out How To Do What No One Else Has [VIDEO]
The Buffalo Bills are going to have a tough one against the New England Patriots Sunday. They fell behind by 24 points by time the third quarter rolled around last time, and ended up giving up 507 yards of offense (466 through the air). If they are going to have a chance to complete the upset this time they are going to have to take at least one major play maker out of the game--and they think they know how to do just that.
They think they can take Rob Gronkowski out of the game.

How In The World Did Eagles WR Jordan Matthews Survive This Hit? [VIDEO]
Getting hit is part of the game of football. If you play you are going to hit. It happens. The longer you play, the better the chances are you will get laid out at least once or twice as well (some positions more so than others of course). Sometimes guys get up from hits like that; sometimes they do not. Last Sunday Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews took just such a hit.
I have to admit--I was a little surprised he was able to get up after that one, but he did.

Will Vikings Massive D-Lineman Linval Joseph Get A Chance To Hit Aaron Rodgers Like He Hit Derek Carr? [VIDEO]
At 6'4" and 329 pounds Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Linval Joseph is a massive man. His play this season has been key to the success the Vikings have been able to enjoy this season. A guy his size is tough to block, and he has not made it easy for opposing offenses to game plan for. He certainly didn't make it easy on the Raiders last week and made Derek Carr pay the price at least once.
What Vikings fans probably want to know is whether he can do it to Aaron Rodgers come Sunday.

WATCH: Pro Golfer Breaks Fans Nose; Hits Him In Face With Horrible Drive
Steven Bowdith is not a household name when it comes to pro golfers, but the man has made over $83K this year so he is doing well enough. So he is not a great pro golfer, but good enough to be a pro nonetheless. However, even the best of professionals make a mistake from time to time. When it happens you hope it will not be costly to one's game or hurt anyone.
During a recent round at the Australian Masters Bowditch proved he is indeed fallible with a horrible drive that ended up hitting a fan in the face and breaking his nose.

Washington Redskins Finally Find A Use For Robert Griffin III
The Washington Redskins have said that they have no intention of trading Robert Griffin III. They also appear to have no intention of playing him either. With the way he last played it is not likely they would be offered more than a sixth round pick for the former first rounder anyway. So while Kirk Cousins plays brilliantly one week and terrible the next he sits on the bench without a prayer of getting in the game (since Colt McCoy is the No. 2).
It seems like an awful shame to have a former first round pick and Heisman trophy winner sitting around cashing his $3.26 million paycheck for doing absolutely nothing. That is exactly what has been going on--until now.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Bryan Walters Pokes Fun At Horrific Trick Play On Twitter [VIDEO]
In case you didn't watch the riveting Thursday night match-up between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans you missed one of the worst attempts at a trick play this season. To be fair, it started off well; everyone moved when they needed to and the initial hand off was seamless. Jaguars wide receiver Bryan Walters--who took the hand off from Blake Bortles--was able to pull up and set for the throw with absolutely no pressure.
He had a wide open target that could have quite possibly scored a touchdown on the play--but somehow failed to complete the pass even though conditions were perfect.

Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliot Want To Know Why The NCAA Wants To Pick On Him
Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliot is having a great season. In spite of the Buckeyes inconsistencies on offense this year he has had a Heisman-caliber, and should he have a pretty good game against Michigan State and Michigan he could lock it up. However, in spite of his personal success and that of the team he still has one question he would like the NCAA to answer.

WATCH: Coastal Carolina Forgets How To Tackle At Worst Time Possible
Coastal Carolina is one of the better team in the FCS, and were looking to finish out their regulators season with a nice win over Liberty. They ended up getting in a dog fight with the Flames, but with a minute and half to go, a four point lead, and Liberty needing 40-yards for the touchdown it was looking like Coastal Carolina was going to walk away a winner.
That is, until B.J. Farrow caught a pass from Josh Woodrum and took it to the house for the go ahead score. Had any of a number of Coastal Carolina defenders remembered how to tackle they could have kept Farrow from scoring.

When the Indianapolis Colts ran their infamous trick play on fourth down last month it was widely perceived as the worst trick play attempt of all time. While it still is the worst trick play of all time, Coastal Carolina did its best Thursday night to run one that is worse.

Titans TE Delanie Walker Has Big Night In Loss To Jaguars [VIDEO]
At this point in the fantasy season there are still bye weeks to survive; something that is often easier said then done. With the regular season winding down though you can't afford to lose just because you can't start your tight end because he is on a bye this week. So you comb the waiver wire in hopes of finding the best of the worst.
If you did indeed need a tight end and went with Delanie Walker in hopes Marcus Mariota would have a big night against the Jaguars you are in luck.

Luke Joeckel is still a youngster with plenty to learn in the NFL, but when you draft someone with the No. 2 pick in the draft there are certain things that you don't expect to see happen--like get completely overpowered by a linebacker.
That is exactly what happened late in the second half when the Jaguars were threatening to score a touchdown. Brian Orakpo went through Joeckel like he wasn't even there.

WATCH: Jaguars TE Julius Thomas Puts Jacksonville On Top Late Against Tennessee With Five-Yard Touchdown Catch
The Jacksonville Jaguars were hoping to give Blake Bortles a nice, big target in the red zone when they signed Julius Thomas. Since he has been recovering from an injury this season we will probably have to wait till next season to see how well he is going to work out. This season is going to be more of a work in progress.
The work progressed pretty well Thursday night when Thomas caught his second touchdown pass of the season to give the Jags the lead late in the fourth quarter following a fantastic punt return by Rashad Greene:

With time running out the Jaguars were faced with a tough decision: kick a field goal and force the Titans to score a touchdown to win or go for it so they could go ahead and ice the game. They chose to kick the field goal, go up by six, and let their defense take care of business--which they did.
Mariota got Tennessee within striking range, but on the final play of the game it was Jacksonville's defense that would make the play--not him.

WATCH: Rashad Greene Makes Longest Punt Return In Five Years For The Jaguars Against Titans
The Jacksonville Jaguars were able to move the ball at times Thursday night, but had trouble finishing off drives. If they were going to be able to beat the Tennessee Titans they were going to need someone to make a big play on offense, defense, or special teams. They got it thanks to Rashad Greene and the longest punt return by a Jaguars player in five years.
Greene has been on the IR so he might have been thinking he wanted to show the team and fans he was worth waiting for. After his 63-yard return set up a five-yard touchdown pass to Julius Thomas i it is safe to say mission accomplished.

WATCH: Jaguars WR Allen Robinson Makes Awesome Catch Sandwiched Between Two Titans Defenders
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson has been one of the more pleasant surprises of the season. Heading into Thursday night's game against Tennessee he had 45 catches for 758 yards and seven touchdowns. So yeah--he's been productive.
Late in the third he had yet to score a touchdown, but he was quietly having a productive night with five receptions for 113 yards. He had one catch in the third while sandwiched between two defenders that will likely be replayed on highlight shows for the next week.

Tennessee Titans QB Marcus Mariota Makes Longest Touchdown Run By A Quarterback This Season
In the first half of the game Thursday night there wasn't a whole lot of offense from either the Titans or the Jaguars. During the third quarter that didn't change a whole lot, but one very important thing did occur.
Jacksonville was on the receiving end of enough penalties that the Jaguars were able to march down the field and get into scoring position--which they did.

WATCH: Jacksonville Jaguars Look Like They Didn't Practice This Trick Play
Trick plays can be real effective, but only when run perfectly. They are reliant on everyone doing their job, and since they are trick plays that usually means everyone has to do their job at just the right time otherwise it will not work.
From the looks of the trick play the Jaguars tried to run Thursday night either they didn't practice it at all. Either thar or someone is hurt and Bryan Walters was not meant to be in on the play. Otherwise, how could they run a trick play with someone who can't hit a wide open receiver 25 yards downfield?

When football fans saw that it was going to be the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night many probably told their significant other they would watch 'How To Get Away With Murder' with them tonight. The response when asked why is easy,"Because your pleasure is more important than football honey, and I know you really like this show."
The fans that did tune in probably thought there was potential for this one to be good. Blake Bortles and Marcus Mariota are capable of moving the ball so this could be interesting.

Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte Getting A Little Salty Over The Attention Being Paid Jeremy Langford
For the last couple weeks the Chicago Bears have been forced to lean on rookie Jeremy Langford in the backfield with Matt Forte out with a knee injury. In that time he has been quite productive with 324 total yards and three touchdowns. It is still up in the air whether Forte will make his way back to the field this week. He is pain free, but still needs the swelling in his knee to go down.
With the way Langford is producing it is not likely the team will put him back on the field until he is 100 percent. However, the longer he is out the more people will not want him back--and that angers him.

Denver Broncos DB T.J. Ward Fined $10K For Punching Chiefs WR Jeremy Macklin [VIDEO]
The last two weeks have been quite costly for Denver Broncos defensive back T.J. Ward. After the loss to Indianapolis Colts he was hit with a fine for his hit on Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton. Last week against Kansas City he was ejected late in the game for an apparent punch to the head of Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Macklin.

Corey Brewer, James Harden Come Through In The Clutch For Rockets First Win Under J.B. Bickerstaff [VIDEO]
Heading into the fourth quarter down by 15 it looked like another ho-hum night for James Harden and the Houston Rockets. The Rockets star was just 4 of 14 prior to the final period, but suddenly remembered how to play like the high-priced star that he is. His 17 fourth quarter points fueled the comeback, but the comeback wasn't complete till Corey Brewer hit a last second three-pointer to send the game to overtime.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offensive Coordinator Really Wants Jameis Winston To Dive Less [VIDEO]
When it comes down to it, a quarterback has to do whatever it takes to win. If that means taking on a big, bad linebacker and making him feel the pain than so be it--right? Not exactly. Yes, when the game is on the line you have to make the play by any means necessary. However, that doesn't mean offensive coordinators are going to like it.

Fellow Owner Advised Jerry Jones To Drink To Handle The Cowboys Losing
Jerry Jones may not be a very good general manager, but he loves his team. Watching it lose over and over the last two months has not been fun. The Cowboys will do well financially whether the team wins or not, but while he likes the money he knows there could be more of it should the team start to win.
It hasn't. To make it more painful the team seems to have a knack for losing in the fourth quarter. They did against the New York Giants a few weeks back when a former Cowboy scored the go ahead points on a late kick return for a touchdown. Afterwards he was given a little advice on how to deal with the team's situation.

WATCH: Northern Illinois RB Jordan Huff Crushes Western Michigan Defender With Awesome Stiff-Arm
This is a great time of year for football fans. On Monday, Thursday, and Sunday we have the NFL. Typically, we just have college football on Thursdays and Saturdays, but fans can now find games on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday as well. Wednesday night Northern Illinois and Western Michigan played. Northern Illinois, led by Jordan Huff's 159 yards and a touchdown on just eight carries, won the game 27-19.
Huff had the play of the game when he broke free for an 87 yard touchdown. He wouldn't have been able to do so if it wasn't for the stiff ar he put on one poor defender:

Alabama is playing Charleston Southern this week. The general perception every time an FCS team play an FBS power house like Alabama is that the FCS team is going to get slaughtered. So reporters tend to ask questions that try to bate coaches into admitting that they are overlooking the FCS team.

Chicago Bears Are Actually Favored Over The Denver Broncos This Week
At the beginning of the season if you were to ask someone what they thought the spread would be when the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears met in Week 11 most would have said anywhere from 10-14 points in favor of the Broncos. No one in their right mind would have made the Bears a favorite.
With the way Jay Cutler looked last season there was no reason to think this year was going to be any better. As it turns out, Cutler hasn't been half bad of late and the Bears actually are favored over the mighty Broncos this week.

It has not been a good season for the Dallas Cowboys. After losing Tony Romo the team went on to lose seven games in a row. The frustrating part is that the team has been competitive in just about every game, but what is done is done. The team is 2-7 and for all intents and purposes out of the division hunt and playoff picture--but not mathematically out of it.

Johnny Manziel Starting For Cleveland Browns For The Rest Of The Season [VIDEO]
Many have wondered when the Cleveland Browns would finally give Johnny Manziel a chance to really take over as the starting quarterback. He has had a couple spot starts for the team this season, and didn't do half bad. During his last start Sunday against Pittsburgh he was not able to lead the team to victory, but he looked like he took a huge step forward as an NFL quarterback.
Initially, Browns head coach Mike Pettine was reluctant to commit to Manziel going forward, but he didn't rule out the idea.

Houston Texans WRs DeAndre Hopkins And Nate Washington On The Big Win Over The Bengals [VIDEO]
After a big win over an undefeated team it is understandably if guys are a little excited and even a little emotional afterwards. This was especially true for the Texans Monday night after they beat the Cincinnati Bengals 10-6.
During his post game press conference DeAndre Hopkins was asked about the touchdown catch and talked about his emotions at the time of it:

WATCH: Houston Texans RB Chris Polk Demolishes Pair Of Bengals Defenders During Second Half Run
Without Arian Foster in the backfield the Houston Texans have struggled to get a running game going (not that Foster was doing well before he was injured). They didn't really get a great one going Monday night against the Bengals Monday night, but they had a couple of runs that were pretty memorable.
Like this one by Chris Polk in the second half where he absolutely demolished Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga and safety George Iloka:

Bengals Fans Let The Boo Birds Fly In Fourth Quarter Monday Night [VIDEO]
For the first half of the season the fans in Cincinnati have seen their team do pretty well every time they took the field. They were not always winning, but in the end they always won. Many were actually starting to get behind Andy Dalton and talked about him like he was an MVP candidate--but then the prime time version of Dalton and the rest of team showed up Monday night.
Even though they were only down by four with the way the team was playing late in the game the fans had seen enough--and they let the boo bird fly:

WATCH: J.J. Watt With The Monster Sack Of Andy Dalton Late In The Game Monday Night
The Houston Texans needed their defense to come up big Monday night and they certainly did just that holding the Bengals to just six points and Andy Dalton to less than 200 yards passing. Of course when you talk about the Texans playing big on defense you inevitably end up talking about J.J. Watt. he had a good game overall, but his biggest play came late in the game when he whipped Eric Winston and sacked Andy Dalton.
Watt was given full credit for the sack even though Whitney Mercilus was in on the hit as well. Heck--it actually looks like Mercilus knocked Watt flat on this back. Anyway...Watt got the credit and with it moved in front of Derrick Thomas for the second most sacks in a player's first five seasons (behind only the late great Reggie White).

Mini-Andy Dalton Spotted In The Stands During Monday Night Football [VIDEO]
If anyone was wondering what Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton looked like when he was in elementary school his adolescent doppelganger was spotted in the stands during Monday night's game against Houston.
With the way the game was going the Cincinnati Bengals could have taken mini-Andy Dalton out of the stands and the game couldn't have gone any worse for them.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert Had A Serious Case of The Drops Against Houston [VIDEO]
The Houston Texans did what no one had been able to do up to this point in the season against the Cincinnati Bengals--shut down the offense and knock them from the ranks of the unbeaten. On offense they did enough, but on defense they played their best game of the season by far. However, that being said, the outcome may have been a little different if Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert could have held on to the ball.
On several occasions the defense jarred it loose, but he had a handful of key drops as well:

What The Heck Is Texans Head Coach Bill O'Brien Doing Here? [VIDEO]
You see guys do some odd things on the sideline during games sometimes, but typically you can figure out what he is trying to do. However, there was a scene Monday night where Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien was doing--something.
I guess if he is heading off to Maryland like the media wants us to believe he might be working on his deejay skills so he can earn a little more money at frat parties.

WATCH: Houston Texans LB John Simon Shucks Blocks Like A Boss To Sack Andy Dalton
John Simon is far from being a household name like some of the other defenders on the Texans roster, but that does not mean he is lacking in talent. During Monday night's game he recorded his third sack of the year after pulling out some nice moves in order to stay free long enough to chase Andy Dalton down for a sack.
Well done Mr, Simon. Well done indeed.

WATCH: Bengals RB Giovani Bernard Uses A Sweet Spin Move To Keep Play Alive
The Cincinnati Bengals had been running the ball well during the season averaging about 120 yards a game. However, they found the running yards a lot tougher to come by Monday night against Houston. The Texans defense probably did their best job of tackling all season holding the Bengals to just 73 yards on the ground.
On one run Giovani Bernard pulled out a pretty sweet spin move to pick up a few more yards:

WATCH: J.J. Watt Talks About Why He Loves The Game Of Football
After the Texans beat the Cincinnati Bengals Monday night the person everyone wanted to talk to was defensive lineman J.J. Watt. He made some comments that Andy Dalton didn't approve of, but even the Red Rifle would say that his answer when Ray Lewis asked him why he loves football could not be more perfect.
Well said Mr. Watt. Well said indeed.

Andy Dalton Disappointed In J.J. Watt For Red Rider BB Gun Comment [VIDEO]
Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt was interviewed immediately after the end of Monday night's game. He was understandably hyped up after his team knocked the Bengals from the ranks of the undefeated with a 10-6 win. During the interview he made a comment about how the Texans turned the Red Rifle (Andy Dalton) into the Red Rider BB gun.
Andy Dalton heard about it of course, and made it clear he was pretty disappointed in Watt:

J.J. Watt On Andy Dalton: We Made The Red Rifle Look Like A Red Rider BB Gun [VIDEO]
The Houston Texans needed to control Andy Dalton if they were going to have chance to beat the Bengals Monday night. Well--they certainly did just that holding him to just 197 yards with one interception on the night while completing just 22 of 38 passes.
After the game J.J. Watt was asked about what the Texans needed to do to win and he was more than to comment with a nice zinger:

WATCH: Texans Seal Win Over Bengals By Forcing A.J. Green To Fumble
The Houston Texans have been down quite a bit this season, but with a big win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night they keep their slim playoff hopes alive. It was a close game that saw only one touchdown scored (by DeAndre Hopkins), but late in the game the Bengals looked like they were finally getting it together.
But the Texans came up big forcing A.J. Green to fumble to kill the Bengals final drive and seal the win.

WATCH: T.J. Yates Hits DeAndre Hopkins With Beautiful Touchdown Pass To Put Houston On Top Against Cincinnati
Losing a starting quarterback is never a good thing, but if there is one person the Houston fans would not mind seeing it would be T.J. Yates. As a rookie he came in and played well after Matt Schaub was lost for the season with an injury along with Matt Leinart. It was Yates that was behind center when the Texans won their first playoff game which happens to have been against the Bengals.
So when he came in in relief of Brian Hoyer it had to be deja vu for Bengals fans when he took the team downfield and scored the go-ahead touchdown:

We Got Monkeys Riding Doggies On Monday Night Football In Cincinnati! [VIDEO]
Don't you just love half time shows? Seriously--does it get much cuter than monkey riding dogs around the football field? I think not!
WATCH: Texans DB Jonathan Joseph Bobbles Interception Before Finally Hauling It In
For Houston to really have a chance to win the defense is going to need to step up and make some big plays. They can't count on the offense to do much so they will need to do anything and everything possible to get the job done. With the play makers the team has on defense that shouldn't be a problem.
They finally got one in the third quarter when Andy Dalton threw up an ill-advised deep ball and Jonathan Joseph picked it off:

WATCH: Cincinnati Bengals DL Domato Peko Breaks Out Epic Fat Guy Dance After Sacking Brian Hoyer
The Cincinnati Bengals have a pretty good front four with some large bodies that are quite capable of disrupting even the best of offensive lines when they get going. They were certainly getting to work on the Houston line at the start of the second half. Here's 322 pound defensive lineman Domato Peko with a key sack to make it third and very long for the Texans.
Of course the best part of a fat guy making a play is the fat guy dance he does to celebrate afterwards:

WATCH: Bengals Linebacker Vontae Burfict Was A Beast In High School As Well
Linebacker Vontaze Burfict is likely the best undrafted rookie they have ever signed. He has been a play maker for the Bengals defense ever since he stepped foot on the field. He's fast. He's fierce, and when he wants to lay the wood on someone he can bring the lumber like few can.
Doing so is nothing new for him. He was bringing it high school as well--like he does here against Matt Barkley:

WATCH: J.J. Watt Plays The Most Aggressive Game of Patty Cake Ever With Goal Post Prior to Game
Every player has a routine they like to go through before games. For J.J. Watt it appears that part of his routine is to work on his hand speed by engaging the goal post in the most aggressive game of patty cake ever.
As cool as it would be to hang out with J.J. Watt I don't want to ever play patty cake with him. That looks like it might hurt.
