A lot of the early talk online has been about the bad blood between Ronda and Miesha. Eventually it will be about them being the hottest coaching duo in sports, but for now the talk has been pretty professional (that will change).
What makes the show must-see is that it is going to be coed. Yes, fight fans, they will have men and women in the house next season!
Now, I know that everyone is there for one reason--to get into the UFC, but I can't help but think that there is going to be some pretty intense fireworks. How will the guys take to being coached by a woman? They will have no choice if they want to be on the show, but you now there will be at least one guy that is not happy about it.
How will the guys mesh with the women in the house? I can only imagine the amount of testosterone that normally flows in that place. Now you have guys sharing space with women--will they be appropriate? How will the women take it if they are not? After all, everyone is supposed to be 135 pounds so the guys are not going to be crazy big or anything...
What's going to happen the first time a woman gets in a guy's face? Like other reality shows, I am going to guess that there is a rule against aggression (outside of the ring of course) so they will not fight outside the ring, but that is not going to stop folks from challenging each other (any fans of the show want to chime in? Do they fight outside of the ring?).
The fights are going to be awesome, but the house is going to be just as awesome. Yes, it will be more like any other reality TV show in existence benefiting of the drama that occurs when you throw any collection of personalities under the same roof, but so what?
It will just make the time between fights on the show a lot more interesting to watch!
