How to Understand Peyton Manning in 5 Easy Steps

Recently Denver Broncos wide receiver Andre Caldwell got bent out of shape when he was not invited to go to Duke to workout with Peyton Manning and the other Denver wide recievers (Wes Welker, Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker).

In Peyton's defense, Andre only caught one ball last season and the three guys that did travel to Duke are going to catch the bulk of them this year so they need to be reading from the same book as Peyton.

There is help for Andre--and any other pass catcher that happens to be in Denver's training camp this season. There is an easy way to get on the same page as Peyton Manning. All you have to do is follow five easy steps.

Or basically watch these five movies--National Lampoon's Vacation, Fletch, Caddyshack, Stripes, and The Jerk.
”...what I’m finding out is we don’t speak the same language because we don’t know the same favorite movies.
It kind of explains why he does so well on Saturday Night Live, huh?

The logic is simple. Watch these flicks and you can grasp a better understanding of what makes the future Hall of Famer tick. Figure that out and maybe you'll get on the same proverbial page on the field more often, catch a few more balls...

Really?

“In order to get on the same page with me, you need to watch these five movies so we can repeat lines and quotes.”

Umm...okay.

It may not be the most orthodox of training methods, but it is not bad as far as homework goes. At least guys like Andre Caldwell that want a seat at the table with Peyton will get to watch some really funny movies.
