His perception of the rapper Drake.
Manziel was really reflective in visiting w/ media afterward - said he's a changed man (for better) after being around Drake for a weekend.

Some of my fellow bloggers and the guys in the media that get paid better have taken this admission as another reason to ridicule Johnny Football. Never one to jump on a bandwagon--especially one where people are just being mean--I had to investigate a little.
I stopped following rap when Kool Moe Dee was no longer cool (who am I kidding; he will always be cool--excuse me-- Kool) and Heavy D was more into acting than being the overweight lover in the house (best rap song ever). So I had to look up Drake via the internet to find out a little more about him.
In a nut shell his music is alright (my opinion; I'm allowed), and I couldn't really see anything wrong him. He has his feuds with other rappers; so what--who doesn't? I actually like that he has one with Chris Brown (that dude is a jerk).
My opinion--and that of everyone else--doesn't matter. In fact, I would say that anyone being critical of him saying Drake's music and hanging out with Drake changed him and made him a better man is being hypocritical.
How many of us have not had our life changed through music? Who hasn't looked to a favorite artist for inspiration? How many people have the Grateful Dead, Jimmi Hendrix, Willie Nelson, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Dave Mathews, Bare Naked Ladies, Jimmy Buffett, and countless other artists changed?
If memory serves, our parents (or their parents) hated most of them too.
Be honest people. Music is meant to be inspiring, and much like beauty, it is in the eye (or ear) of the beholder. So don't hate because Johnny Football is really into Drake. Just be glad he is trying to be a better man.
Shouldn't we all?
(I believe this was the song that Johnny Football broke his self-imposed Twitter ban with.)
