New Florida State QB Jameis Winston: Beware the 'Manziel Disease'

If there was ever a way to make sure that a fan base will hate you new Florida State Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston has succeeded in doing it. Once Texas A&M fans here about his recent comments about Johnny Manziel I don't see too many Aggies being fond of him.

For some reason, in a recent interview he had this to say about the embattled Heisman Trophy winner:

"If I ever get Manziel disease, I want all of you to smack me in the head with your microphones" I could listen to Jameis for hours

Wow.

Bashing Manziel has been a pastime for many lately with his much publicized social life and the whole autograph scandal. However, for someone to blast him that has done nothing at the college level to trash the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy?

Some may call it balls, but it reeks more of someone dying for attention and jumping on the bash Manziel bandwagon to get it. Winston has done nothing to earn his own recognition so he might as well use someone else's to get a little.
