Team Japan Fans Clean Up Their Section of the Stadium After Game Against Ivory Coast

Some of the best scenes from the World Cup so far have been off the pitch and in the stands. Soccer fans are infamous for being passionate and often times fanatical when it comes to their team--especially the national teams. So when we see fans dressed up in crazy costumes like these Team Japan fans during Saturday's match against the Ivory Coast we are not surprised.

However, we are surprised at what they did after the game was over.

They cleaned up their section of the stands.

Here they are after travelling across the ocean and paying an arm and a leg to get to these games and rather than just enjoy the moment they are cleaning up after themselves. I'm sure they know that the stadium has people that are paid to do that (who are likely now fans of Team Japan).

But they did it anyway.

If there is a more polite and considerate fan base anywhere in the world I have not seen it. Well done Team Japan fans. Well done indeed.
