London Artist Turns Herself in to FIFA World Cup Trophy [PHOTO]

You have to admit--soccer fans are something else. Nothing against baseball, football, basketball or hockey fans, but soccer fans are nuts! Yeah, college kids will riot and act like fools after big games, but other than that fans of the North American Big Four are pretty tame unless their team loses in the Finals (and that is only some fan bases).

You certainly don't see anyone turning themselves in to the Lombardi Trophy (would be kind of hard...) or anything like this London artist that turned herself in to the World Cup trophy.

This is Emma Allen and she admits she is not that big of a soccer fan. So why do it? Eh--why not? After around 2 1/2 hours of work applying gold paint she did what she set out to do.

 

She became the FIFA World Cup trophy.
