Two Arrested in Connnection With Spartan Stadium Bomb Threat

They say it takes all kinds to make the world go 'round--yes, even stupid people that like to phone in bomb threats to college football stadiums. What purpose could they possibly serve? They make sure the police are on their toes by giving them someone to arrest.

For example--the two idiots that called in a bomb threat on Spartan Stadium--the home of the Michigan State Spartans--Wednesday afternoon.

The call was received at around 3:15 PM ET, and according to the Lansing State Journal the police were able to quickly apprehend the two people responsible for the call, a 31-year old man and a 30-year old woman.

Even in the off-season there are still about 200 people that work in the stadium. Many were already gone for the holiday weekend, but police still made sure to sweep the facility and make sure everyone evacuated when the order was given.

The all-clear was given around 5 PM.

Who they are has not been released at this time, and that is really for the better. The only possible reason for doing something this stupid is to see one's name in the paper and online so it's better for them to remain anonymous.
